Materials: A dress shirt A ruler Scissors A rotary cutter and cutting mat (optional) A fabric marking pen A sewing machine and thread A bias tape maker (optional) An iron Select a shirt with a print or colour that you like. Remember that bias tape is cut on the diagonal, so if you are using stripes, they will be on an angle on your finished tape. The larger the shirt, the more fabric you will have to play with! In this example, I've used a men's XL shirt to make double-fold bias tape
